Today I decided to only make a quick status update instead of delving deep into the activities, I've performed throughout the week. Nothing of great importance really happened. However, in spite of that, I've been steadily working towards my goals which included (but were not limited to):
a) learning new English vocab for the C2 attestation that awaits me in December (my policy in regards to practice is better safe than sorry, especially when it comes to a non-trivial manner such as attaining proficiency in the English language.)
b) studying for the upcoming exam season (yikes)
c) working on a comprehensive plan for my forthcoming summer (as of now, it's about 95% completed, and I plan to elaborate on it in the next post that hopefully comes out this Friday - I currently have a lot on my plate because I am in the middle of the exam season.)
d) doing research on some futuristic topics such as AI, string theory or exploring possible intricacies concerning life in the near or distant future (this one was a lot of fun. To be frank, it was not exactly relevant to my work plan at the moment, but it broadened my understanding of these topics greatly, and it might come in handy in the future.)
This time I tried my best to keep it super-short and concise due to my lack of free time these days, but that is not the only reason. I wholeheartedly believe that this kind of weekly overviews should be as brief as possible - only emphasising the highlights of a particular week.
Afterall, the main idea of this blog is to supply the reader with challenging and intriguing ideas, hence updates on my personal life should logically be of lesser importance. Life is too short to read lengthy posts about one's attempts to pinpoint where exactly did inefficiencies in one's timetable occur. The final version of my system is designed in a way, in which it is rather clear how well I did perform compared to the previous week and in the long-term. Anyway, that would be it for me today, from now on I'll be simply attaching my weekly statistics at the end of each post as an add-on - for those who are stat-savvy enough to be interested.
