The hell is over! Time for the "real game" to start. Finally, after 2 weeks or so, I can catch a break. As per 31/05, I successfully finished all the assignments and passed each one of the finals I was obliged to attend. It's been a lengthy, uninspiring and tedious experience, so it goes without saying that I am incredibly grateful that it's over. I could go on and on about some of the shortcomings of traditional education (such as an unmotivating grading system, extreme emphasis on memorisation, almost no emphasis on the use of critical thinking etc...) but I'll leave that for another day.
By the term "real game" I meant the productivity plan that I set out for myself, so I do not falter and waste all the precious time at my disposal on low return activities (like I did last summer). I'll post an article that will cover my productivity plan in bigger detail on the 5th, and if everything goes well, I'll be able to attract some portion of an audience that is interested in the topic of productivity.
Last but not least, I would like to give a quick update on last week with stats concerning my time usage during it. When I looked at the stats for last week, it wasn't that bad, to be honest. The stats indicated that I was rather productive (even more so than the week before) considering that I had my hands full with finishing assignments and preparing for finals but in spite of that, I felt horrible, and my mood was pretty dreadful. In addition to that, I failed in many habits - mainly concerning exercise and self-care - which I am not particularly happy about.
To sum it up, last week (and also this week as a matter of fact - because it's Friday and I am writing a weekly review with a three-day delay, yikes) was the worst week I've experienced since I've started my self-improvement project but I strongly believe that the tides will turn for the better as summer is just around the corner and I have almost 4 months of vacation ahead of me. After I finish writing this article I'll not grab some drink and go sit on a couch in my garden, even though the weather is really nice (I can always save that for later) but instead I'll go work hard on preparations for the 5th of June so my summer improvement project is designed well and ceases success. Afterall, as far as I am concerned, there is nothing better than looking at your past self and rejoicing how far you have come and how much you have changed because you put your mind to it.
Hope you are having a wonderful day
Cheers
