This was last week before summer, which was coincidentally the week where not a whole lot happened. I tried to be mindful of my obligations and *cough* habits and to be honest, it turned out fairly well. Until Friday I had my hands full with wrapping up all the obligations tied with my second year in college, so I didn't have spare time to read or improve in languages on daily bases. When the last exam was over, I took a three-day break while only doing necessary chores and daily *cough* habits (I failed 31 of those F-ers this week as well - consistency is key right?).
Some "real" (productive) things I did this week are:
- writing an outline for my sci-fi book project
- researching (quite meekly) into the topic of psychometrics
- brainstorming some ideas I have for this summer so I can put out a decent article later today
Although I am only a novice writer, I enjoy writing fiction stories greatly (despite the fact that until now most of them ended up in the dustbin right after I had a better look at them because they lacked sufficient quality on many fronts). 2nd and 3rd point is rather self-explanatory - I am a psychology student, and I have a blog I want to attend to, so doing tasks that facilitate me being a successful college graduate or me writing a better blog article than usual are more than welcome.
To be frank, last week felt kind of bleak. The first half of the week I was counting down the seconds until my exam period is over and the second half (more like 2.5 days) of the week, apart from writing an outline for a book - that felt great, my focus was heavily derailed. Even though I did a substantial amount work (mainly low return chores that have to be done from time to time in order to function properly), I was working on autopilot and doing work which I wasn't exactly enthusiastic about, but hey, every cloud has a silver lining (do they?). Yesterday I started The Summer Self-improvement Project, which I am particularly excited about so we will see how it goes. I wrote this article as an entrée before the main course (The Summer Self-improvement Project article), so I have my hands busy with that and hopefully, I can publish it by the end of this day.

That's it from me for now, hope you are having a beautiful day
